Mr. Gorey joined Propex in April 2011 as President and Chief Executive Officer. He is a proven leader, most recently serving as President of Bridgestone, North American Consumer Tire Business. With more than 25 years experience in the automotive and building products industries, Gorey has the know-how to drive innovations and strategies that produce growth, profit and market leadership, even in volatile markets. Coupled with his executive leadership experience is a strong background in finance, accounting and marketing.

Randy D. Powell

Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Powell brings 25 years manufacturing experience to Propex in a variety of assignments that have allowed him to utilize his Engineering, Leadership and Strategic Planning background. His areas of expertise include operational management with large facility and multi-site responsibilities, complimented by a strong engineering, manufacturing and quality leadership background, dynamic and customer-oriented environments utilizing a focused, results-oriented leadership style and the ability to instill corporate and business vision into manufacturing operations.

Mark J. Thomas

Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Thomas joined Propex in October of 2012 as the Chief Financial Officer. He is a skilled financial executive having previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of both private and public companies. Mr. Thomas has a broad background with 25 years of experience with such entities as Bausch & Lomb, Eastman Kodak and the Mead Corporation. During this tenure he has had diverse assignments that include Corporate Controller, VP of Financial Planning as well as Director of Sales Operations. This exposure to a wide range of international manufacturing operations in both consumer and commercial markets has enabled him to partner with management teams to drive profitability and increase shareholder value. Most recently Mr. Thomas has focused his career on mid-cap companies that are held by private equity firms. He currently holds an active CPA license from the state of Illinois.
