Problem

The City of Chattanooga learned that stormwater runoff from a large drainage area had severely eroded banks within the main fairway channel of the Chattanooga Golf & Country Club creating undercut channel banks and failing side slopes. Immediate repairs were required and cost-sharing between the City and Club prompted negotiation of an already constricted budget.

Solution

The ARMORMAX® 75 system by Propex TEEtoGREEN™ was identified as the perfect solution to stabilize channel banks above a new stone-walled drainage way, as it provided a cost-effective and green alternative to additional riprap and concrete.
