The Native Village of Kipnuk, Alaska constructed a lagoon expansion in 2012 and needed shoreline protection. Traditional riprap and hard armoring was cost prohibitive due to the remote location.

ARMORMAX® offered a cost effective solution to protect the shores from wind generated wave erosion while providing a solution for stabilization and non-hydraulic stresses such as ice flows, wildlife, and mower maintenance. The new lagoon was built in a high water table and settled 1 foot in 12 months.
