Continuous erosion of the slopes near Maui Towers in Rosario, Argentina threatened a residential project adjacent to Parana River. The slopes needed to be stabilized but the residential development still wanted it to look aesthetically pleasing.

The solution: LANDLOK® 450 from Propex GeoSolutions. LANDLOK 450 is a Turf Reinforcement Mat (TRM) that uses X3® Fiber Technology and is a three-dimensional and/or stitchbonded polypropylene geotextile that delivers long-term erosion protection. 5.000 m2 of LANDLOK was installed along the slope to stabilize it as well as prevent any further erosion.

The fabric was first hydroseeded below the TRM to ensure great vegetation growth. The combination was a great success and provided a green, sustainable solution for the real-estate development.
